There are significant delays on all parcels going to Europe, across all networks. Please also note, every item requires official classification. As a seller of unique items this is taking much longer than we thought, so this may cause delays in processing and dispatching your order.

A note regarding all Express parcels to Europe from DPD

In view of the unprecedented set of circumstances we currently face we have had to pause and review our road service into the Europe, including the Republic of Ireland. This pause in our operation will be as short as possible and we intend to re-commence this service on Wednesday 13 January, but we’ll provide you with an update on Tuesday 12 January.

Please bare this in mind if ordering from Europe. For peace of mind, please contact us before ordering for the best advice on shipping options.

 

 

From 23rd November 2020

All DPD timed services (By 12 and By 10:30 services) will be suspended from 23rd November until the end of December. This is an operational decision from DPD to ensure they can maintain their daily services.

November 2020 UPDATE:

Until further notice, all Royal Mail parcels will be sent without a signature required. This is to help the delivery drivers maintain social distancing. Therefore, please allow a minimum of 15 business days for ALL deliveries from Royal Mail. Recently we've noticed some parcels being delivered 14+ days from dispatch, so we thank you for your patience and understanding at this challenging time.

For now, we will keep the premium options (Next Day / Saturday etc) available, however these are not guaranteed by any means. DPD in particular are under huge strains in trying to deliver timed parcels on time. If your premium parcel is delayed for any reasons, we can only apologise and will of course arrange a refund.

All our Gunge & Messy Supplies are perfectly safe to use during this outbreak and have been in stock since before October 2019. Should you require more info we're available via LiveChat and/or email.

All the while our delivery companies are continuing to function, we will continue trading also. We've limited the number of employees on site to 2, to ensure social distancing as advised by Public Health England. All other staff members are working from home. For this reason, processing time may increase slightly.

All delivery companies have put in place social distancing precautions that include placing your parcel on your doorstep, knocking the door and walking 3 steps back. The drivers will also not be asking you to sign the hand-held scanner, but rather they'll sign on your behalf.

*Latest Update*

Possible processing delays of an additional 1-2 business days. DPD are still collecting daily. Any Royal Mail packages may take slightly longer than usual due to shorter business hours at all nationwide post offices.

Due to COVID-19 surcharges and emergency price increases applied to our postage costs, we reserve the right to use alternative shipping methods as we will not be increasing our postage costs.

Wednesday 8th April

No changes at present. Still processing and dispatching orders.

Monday 30th March

We are continuing to accept and process orders. This could change any time, however if you've paid we'll do everything we can to dispatch your order.

Friday 27th March

We're still processing order as usual with all the necessary precautions. Thank you for your kind messages and please ensure you follow the Government's guidelines for staying safe.

Tuesday 24th March

Following on from yesterday's message from The Government, our plan is to continue processing orders for as long as DPD are able to collect from us and all the while Royal Mail continue accepting post.

We now have just one team member working in the warehouse processing and packaging orders, so orders may take a little longer to process. Our LiveChat operators are working from home and until further notice the telephone line will not be available.

All parcel deliveries are contactless with both DPD and Royal Mail firmly practicing social distancing. Please read through the links above for how they're putting this into practice.

As it's currently not possible to sign for packages, we'll be helping the delivery drivers by using normal post so a signature is not required. Since introducing the 'Signed For' service a few years ago we rarely experience non-deliveries or missing parcels with Royal Mail.

If your parcel doesn't arrive within the specified time, please be patient as it is currently not unusual for parcels to arrive a week or two later due to this uncertain pandemic. Thank you.

Monday 23rd March

We are continuing to process and ship orders today.

Until further notice, all Methylcellulose products are now out of stock with immediate effect. We're trying to obtain emergency stock, however as you can appreciate at this time, it's taking a little longer than usual.

Saturday 21st March

While we do not ship orders at the weekend, we do still plan to continue processing orders throughout next week.

DPD have released a statement regarding unavoidable price increases due to the outbreak. While we WILL NOT be increasing our postage prices on the website to reflect this, if it becomes apparent the price is significantly higher than expected we may contact you regarding this to work out a solution. We may also have to temporarily pull certain international services altogether.

We are continuing to process orders as usual.

Next Day, Nominated Day & Special Deliveries are no longer guaranteed until further notice. Please keep checking back for the latest news regarding any possible disruption to our services.
